
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, Statistics, Tableau, and Advanced Analytics. The role involves working with structured and non-structured data to perform data preparation, analysis, interpretation, visualization, and insight generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and data problems, understand requirements, and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Perform data cleaning, preparation, parsing, manipulation, aggregation, and analysis using SQL and Python.
- Work with structured and non-structured databases using SQL DDL and DML.
- Apply statistical concepts and sampling methodologies to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.
- Conduct data interpretation and advanced analytics to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain analytical dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.
- Perform exploratory analysis and communicate findings through effective data visualization.
- Apply problem-solving and analytical thinking to identify data patterns and support data-driven decision-making.
- Leverage basic Data Science and Machine Learning concepts where applicable.
- Write efficient, high-performance Python code for data analysis and manipulation at scale.
- Apply software engineering and data engineering fundamentals, including basic software design principles, unit testing, and version control.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex data problems.
- Strong data interpretation and insight-generation capabilities.
- Good working knowledge of Statistics and Sampling Methodologies.
- Strong understanding of data cleaning, preparation, transformation, and validation.
- Hands-on experience in Advanced Analytics and analytical techniques.
- Strong data visualization and dashboarding skills using Tableau.
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and anomalies from datasets.
- Understanding of basic Data Science / Machine Learning concepts.
- Ability to translate analytical findings into meaningful insights and conclusions.
Technical Skills:
SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL, including DDL and DML, across structured and non-structured databases.
Python: Strong programming skills for data parsing, manipulation, aggregation, analysis, and insight generation.
Tableau: Dashboard design, development, and data visualization.
Statistics: Statistical analysis and sampling methodologies.
Advanced Analytics: Good working knowledge of analytical techniques.
