Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the companys strategic and financial planning functions. The role involves developing financial models, conducting market sizing and forecasting, and performing in-depth sensitivity and risk analysis required for strategic decision making. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

1. Financial Modelling & Planning :

a) Develop, maintain, and enhance comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.

b) Build dynamic financial frameworks to evaluate investments, profitability, and cost structures.

2. Market Sizing & Opportunity Assessment:

a) Conduct market sizing and opportunity analysis for new and existing business verticals.

b) Assess competitive positioning, industry benchmarks, and demand projections.

3. Sensitivity & Scenario Analysis :

a) Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate financial and operational risks under varying assumptions.

b) Support management with actionable insights for decision-making under uncertain market conditions.

4. Risk Analysis & Business Evaluation:

a) Conduct risk assessments for projects, business cases, and investment proposals.

b) Support investment appraisals, due diligence, and business case evaluations to ensure sound financial governance.

5. Forecasting & Performance Tracking :

a) Drive financial forecasting and variance analysis to monitor actual performance against strategic goals.

b) Prepare periodic financial reports, MIS, and dashboards summarizing key performance indicators.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

a) Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with operational outcomes.

b) Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and process improvements.

7. Valuation :

a) Ability to value companies across lifecycle, i.e. startups to mature companies.

Desired Skills:

- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and ratio analysis.

- Expertise in financial modeling, market forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analytics and data presentation tool, eg Power BI.

- Ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

- High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical rigor in financial reporting.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-support capabilities.
