About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Zonal Sales Manager to lead regional business operations, drive revenue growth, and strengthen channel & enterprise partnerships across the Southern Zone. This role is pivotal in accelerating business performance through data-driven decision-making and team leadership. And most Importantly manage a large team of approx. 100 people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the P&L, growth, and market share for the assigned zone.
- Build and lead a high-performance sales team across multiple states.
- Drive new business acquisition and strategic account management to achieve revenue targets.
- Create and implement go-to-market strategies, channel expansion, and category growth plans.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and product teams for seamless execution.
- Analyze regional performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales efficiency.
- Ensure strong governance, forecasting accuracy, and process compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 12-18 years of experience in B2B / SME Sales
- Proven track record in scaling business across multiple regions or verticals.
- Strong leadership and people management experience (large, distributed teams).
- Hands-on experience in strategy, planning, and execution.
- MBA from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute (preferred).
- Exposure to tech-led, high-growth business environments will be an advantage.
