Zonal Sales Manager - Poultry Business
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand the Premier Channel Development for the Western region, with a focus on the Mumbai market.
- Build and strengthen distribution networks, drive channel activities, and expand market access across urban and semi-urban clusters.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure sustained growth in partner distribution, specifically within the poultry sector and allied industries.
- Drive the retail B2B insurance business through innovative partnership models, with a focus on life and health insurance products tailored for the poultry industry.
- Design and scale a pan-India distribution model, ensuring strong compliance and operational excellence.
- Coach, train, and motivate sales teams and channel partners to achieve business goals and deliver a high-performance culture.
- Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners in the poultry domain to identify new business opportunities.
- Be fully responsible for the P&L of the Western region, ensuring profitability, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
Prerequisites:
- 6+ years of proven experience in channel development within the insurance broking space, preferably with exposure to the poultry or agri-business sectors.
- Experience in managing regional responsibilities and leading large, cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in partner onboarding, distribution expansion, and relationship management.
- Strong existing network of channel partners, ideally with relevance to the poultry or rural enterprise sectors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic relationship-building skills.
