Zonal Sales Manager General Trade (Beverages)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Zonal Sales Manager General Trade to lead and expand our beverage sales operations across New Delhi and Rajasthan. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the FMCG/Beverage general trade landscape, an excellent track record in managing large sales teams and distributors, and the ability to drive volume, visibility, and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead, develop, and manage a team of ASMs, TSMs, and Sales Officers to achieve zonal targets.
- Channel Management: Expand and strengthen general trade distribution channels across the zone.
- Distributor Management: Appoint, review, and manage a strong distributor network ensuring ROI, service levels, and infrastructure.
- Execution Excellence: Ensure execution of trade marketing plans, visibility drives, new product launches, and promotional activities at the retail level.
- Revenue Growth: Drive primary and secondary sales targets, monitor product performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies; provide strategic feedback to the senior leadership.
- MIS & Reporting: Maintain daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, market feedback, and business analytics.
Desired Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 5 - 6 years in Sales (at least 4 years in managing General Trade in the beverages/FMCG sector).
- Location Familiarity: In-depth understanding of Kolkata and West Bengal market dynamics.
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration or relevant field.
- Skills: Leadership, negotiation, territory planning, team management, data analysis, and excellent communication.
