Job profile:

Will lead sales operations across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh & CG. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing distributor and channel networks, leading a regional sales team, and expanding market presence in both urban and semi-urban markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Growth:

- Achieve and exceed sales targets

- Develop and execute state-wise and territory-level sales strategies

- Drive primary and secondary sales through distributors, dealers, and channel partners

- Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and untapped markets

Team Leadership:

- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers / Sales Officers

- Set targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews

- Coach and train the team to improve productivity and sales effectiveness

Channel & Distributor Management:

- Appoint, manage, and strengthen distributor and dealer networks

- Ensure effective stock management, credit control, and collections

- Improve market coverage, visibility, and product availability

Market & Strategy:

- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights

- Plan and execute promotions, schemes, and trade marketing activities

- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams

Reporting & Compliance:

- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and MIS reporting

- Ensure CRM and reporting discipline

- Adhere to company policies and compliance standards

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree/PG in Business, Marketing, or a related field

- Candidates must have prior experience in Home Care and/or Personal Care products

- 10+ years of sales experience with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role

- Strong experience handling Maharashtra and MP markets

- Proven success in distributor-led or channel sales models

- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

- Willingness to travel extensively
