Job Title: Zonal Sales Head Independent Aftermarket
Role Overview:
- The Zonal Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction across the assigned zone.
- This role involves leading a team of Regional and Area Sales Managers to deliver sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- The incumbent will implement go-to-market strategies, oversee brand and channel development, and strengthen the company's market presence in key product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute zonal sales strategies aligned with overall business goals and revenue targets.
- Achieve sales, profitability, and market share objectives within the independent aftermarket segment.
- Track competitor activity, pricing, and product positioning to identify market trends and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and manage zonal sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
Business Development:
- Build and strengthen a robust distribution network of distributors, retailers, and mechanics to enhance product availability and preference.
- Increase share of wallet (SOW) with channel partners through consistent engagement and business expansion initiatives.
- Drive both primary and secondary sales through effective sign-offs, incentive programs, and promotional activities.
- Implement training programs for mechanics and channel partners to improve product knowledge and correct fitment practices.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Regional/State Managers and Market Sales Representatives.
- Define KPIs, set clear performance goals, and ensure a structured journey cycle plan for the team.
- Promote a high-performance culture that emphasizes customer orientation, accountability, and continuous capability building.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Sharp business acumen with in-depth knowledge of the independent Aftermarket industry in the geographies being handled.
- Proven ability in in growing existing products and launching new product lines in Aftermarket.
- Analytical skills to understand sales and marketing policies of competitors and suggest interventions to gain volume and market share.
- Mind-set with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to motivate teams to deliver 3x-5x sales growth in 3 years.
- Strong communication skills to influence target audience.
- Local language fluency is a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder and customer management.
