Role Overview We are looking for an accomplished and growth-driven Zonal Sales Head with deep experience in the diagnostics and pathology business. The ideal professional should have a strong doctor network, proven success across B2B and B2C channels, and hands-on experience in lab acquisitions/network expansion. This role will drive revenue growth, manage Zonal P&L, enhance market share, and lead a high-performance sales team.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive both B2B (Hospitals, Clinics, Labs, Corporates) and B2C (Walk-ins, Retail, Franchise) sales.
- Build and execute strategic business plans to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Develop pricing strategies based on regional diagnostic pricing insights, competitor benchmarking, and market dynamics.
- Expand business footprint by identifying new markets, channels, and products. Lab Acquisition & Expansion
- Identify high-potential labs for acquisition or strategic partnerships.
- Manage the full acquisition lifecycle including due diligence, business evaluation, financial negotiations, and deal closure.
- Ensure smooth integration of acquired labs with internal operations and brand standards. Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead and mentor Regional Managers, Sales Executives & Field Teams.
- Monitor performance metrics, drive accountability, and ensure capability development.
- Cultivate a strong performance and customer-focused culture. Customer & Doctor Relationship Management
- Maintain strong networks with Doctors, Pathologists, Hospital Administrators, Franchise owners & Channel Partners.
- Ensure excellent order fulfillment, customer service delivery, and retention initiatives. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor pricing, new diagnostics trends, upcoming technologies & customer behavior.
- Provide data-driven sales forecasts, dashboards, and business insights to leadership.
- Recommend strategic actions to enhance growth and competitiveness.
Requirements Education
- Graduate / MBA preferred (Sales/Marketing specialization advantageous)Professional Experience
- Minimum 10+ years in Diagnostics / Pathology / Medical Devices.
- Strong understanding of Gujarat diagnostics market, pricing, and referral ecosystem.
- Direct experience in lab acquisitions and business expansion - mandatory.
- Proven success in handling zonal P&L and large cross-functional teams.
- Solid track record in B2B + B2C channel development. Skills & Capabilities
