Role Overview:

The Zonal Manager - Prime LAP role is a leadership position responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the Loan Against Property (LAP) business within a designated zone (Hyderabad or Delhi). This role involves managing a team of Area Managers and Sales Managers, developing and executing sales strategies, ensuring adherence to credit policies, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. The Zonal Manager works closely with the regional leadership team to achieve business targets and enhance market share. The impact of this role is significant, as it directly contributes to the company's revenue generation and expansion in the SME lending sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement zonal sales strategies to achieve targeted LAP disbursement volumes and revenue growth.

- Manage and mentor a team of Area Managers and Sales Managers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maximize their potential.

- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business expansion and product innovation.

- Ensure adherence to credit policies, risk management guidelines, and regulatory requirements to maintain portfolio quality and minimize losses.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including channel partners, DSA's, and internal departments, to facilitate business development and operational efficiency.

- Oversee the entire loan lifecycle, from lead generation to disbursement and recovery, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members to improve their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service capabilities.

- Prepare and present regular reports on zonal performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to senior management.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve ambitious targets.

- Proven expertise in Loan Against Property (LAP) products, sales processes, and credit policies.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify market opportunities and resolve operational challenges.

- In-depth understanding of the local market dynamics and competitive landscape in the designated zone.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
