Description:
- Identify and develop business opportunities in government and institutional projects for POP, PUTTY and Gypsum board.
- Monitor and track government tenders, GeM portal opportunities, and public sector projects in the assigned territory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government departments, PWD, CPWD, contractors, architects, and project consultants.
- Facilitate product approvals and vendor registrations with government bodies and project authorities.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and project conversion goals for the territory.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor product usage and ensure project execution as per company standards.
- Provide technical guidance and product demonstrations to contractors, applicators, and project stakeholders.
- Track competitor activities and market trends in government projects.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, project pipeline updates, and territory performance reports.
- Ensure timely payment collection and compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
- 5 to 15 years of experience in project sales within building materials, construction chemicals, paints, or POP/Putty industry.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and tendering systems.
- Good negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Prior experience handling government projects and tender-based sales is preferred.
