
Purpose of Position:
- Business Development for Industry Business line for the Region.
- Lead the Business Development for I&F products in the markets of: Building & Infrastructure.
Major Responsibilities:
- Business Development for all product portfolio for Construction & In-service Verification Business Lines - (Products - Geotech, Design Review, QA/QC/ PMC, NDT-RR. HSE Audits & Training)
- Lead Business Development for all major/key opportunities for South India in coordination with area offices, Business Line/Functional Heads such as B&I.
- Development and maintenance of all projects, opportunities & tenders list for large opportunities.
- Recognizing the prospective clients in the region, and create a data base.
- Early identification and follow up of major projects, opportunities & tenders.
- Identification, preparation and submission of pre-qualification, expression of interest, offers & tenders.
- Visiting prospective clients to present company services and to identify the client need as an opportunity, follow up actions and keeping the respective division heads in communication loop.
- Efficient in using the marketing tools such as presentation material, company profile, service sheets, reference list, completion/appreciation letters, etc.
- Keeping in touch with the various publicity activities in the region such as exhibitions, seminars, conferences etc., and explore the possibility of showcasing the organization and services.
- Interacting with the BD managers of other regions for mutual exchange of expertise, work, common clients and other references.
- Co-ordinate with other area offices.
- Keep track of offers submitted till its final outcome.
- Maintain Sales Force Opportunity 3 times of your Budgeted Target and need to review as proposal submitted to Closed Won/Lost in timely manner.
- Updating all opportunities, Offers/Contract Reviews format, Sales factor format & FLEX No. opening, in sales Force.
Roles & Responsibilities for HSE:
- Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health safety and environment and workmen employment.
- Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSE Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001 standards) within his/ her Region/Location/Team
- Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety at their own, colleagues and others working surroundings.
- Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health Safety and Environment.
Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- Meeting the Sales Budget - Karnataka
- Client relationship - Retention and Growth.
- Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
- Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
- Ensure from Operation team, once the work executed and they have to collect the Work completion Certificates.
Qualification and Experience:
- Graduate in Civil Engineering with 15-20 years of experience in Sales / Marketing in the relevant industry.
- MBA in marketing will be an added advantage.
Skills & Qualities:
- Should be a 'Go to Market' attitude personnel with ability to connect people, client contacts at higher level & should be able to convert contacts into business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Should have good selling skills & pleasing personality
- Good communication and presentation skills.
