Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Revenue Management:
- Own and achieve zonal revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
- Develop and implement zonal business plans aligned with organizational strategy.
- Drive sales growth through effective channel management and market penetration.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions where required.
Regional Operations Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across branches/units within the zone.
- Ensure operational efficiency, process adherence, and service quality.
- Coordinate with central teams to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
- Ensure timely resolution of operational issues and escalations.
Team Leadership & People Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage Regional/Area Managers and branch leadership teams.
- Drive performance management, training, and capability development.
- Build a strong talent pipeline and ensure employee engagement and retention.
- Conduct regular reviews, feedback sessions, and performance appraisals.
Client & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Handle key client negotiations, escalations, and strategic accounts.
- Represent the organization in the zone with customers, regulators, and partners.
Compliance, Risk & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor risk parameters, audit observations, and control effectiveness.
- Support internal, statutory, and regulatory audits.
- Ensure adherence to credit, operational, and risk management frameworks (where applicable).
Market Expansion & Strategy Execution:
- Identify new market opportunities, locations, and growth areas within the zone.
- Support new branch launches, product rollouts, and expansion initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
Reporting & MIS:
- Review and analyze zonal MIS, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Present business performance, risks, and action plans to senior management.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data reporting across the zone
