Job Purpose:
Responsible for developing effective wealth management strategies. Leading the team of Regional heads to meet the top and bottom-line target achievements for the vertical. Manage relationship with external and internal stakeholders to achieve the business strategies. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales, business development, and team management. As the zonal Head, you will be responsible for setting sales strategies, nurturing client relationships, and leading a high-performance sales team.
Main Accountabilities:
Business Strategy and Planning
- Develop the strategic plan for Wealth Management to meet business objectives.
- Direct product development efforts and oversee successful implementation of new products and services tailored for Wealth Management clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Investment Analysts, and Marketing teams, to ensure seamless client experiences and service delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify market positioning opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and growth prospects.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
Business Development:
- Analyse new business opportunities with existing clients and recommend suitable products according to target customer profiles to grow the company's portfolio.
- Oversee sales and distribution efforts including sales force/channels management and participating in clients' calls with RSMs/WMs.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives within the wealth management sector.
Risk Management:
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics including manpower productivity and suggest/implement improvements.
- Oversee the implementation of wealth management policies and procedures.
Team Management:
- Supervise Wealth Managers in the growth, acquisition, and retention of high net worth clients.
- Ensure availability of adequate MIS and reporting tools.
- Develop a strong team through effective recruitment, training, coaching, and mentoring, and grooming potential for succession planning of key positions.
- Lead a team of Sales Managers and investment specialists providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success in acquiring and retaining clients.
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum Degree: Postgraduate/ Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum Experience - 15-20 years of Experience
