Role and Responsibilities
- Own and drive the sales strategy and execution for the entire zone, ensuring achievement of revenue targets and market share growth.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive sales plans aligned with overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team including Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and frontline representatives.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless go-to-market execution and product availability.
- Oversee distributor management, sales forecasting, budgeting, and expense control to maximize profitability.
- Drive trade marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and new product launches within the zone.
- Establish robust sales governance, compliance, and reporting mechanisms.
- Continuously enhance team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Provide timely and insightful sales reports and market feedback to senior leadership
