Job Title: Zonal Head.
Job Level: Mid to Senior Level.
Reporting to: National Head.
Job Summary:
This role involves overseeing operations, sales, and strategic initiatives within the assigned zone to drive business growth and ensure operational excellence.
The Zonal Head will lead a team to achieve regional targets, enhance customer experience, and play a pivotal role in expanding the presence and growth of our payments bank business by meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute business strategies to meet sales targets and expand market presence in the zone.
Team Leadership:
- Appoint, mentor, and lead a team of Sales Officers, Area Sales Managers, Senior ASMs, Cluster Heads, and Regional Sales Managers.
- Set clear action plans, motivate the team, and conduct performance reviews to ensure KPI achievement.
Stakeholder and Channel partner management:
- Build and nurture relationships with cooperative banks and channel partners, focusing on turnover and growth objectives.
Onboarding and Engagement:
- Oversee the onboarding of retailers, merchants, distributors, and super distributors for seamless service integration.
- Drive business growth by engaging and supporting all partners.
Operational efficiency and monitoring:
- Monitor throughput and transaction activities to maintain an active user base and optimize operational processes for better service delivery.
Customer Experience:
- Foster a customer-centric culture, address feedback, and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.
KPI Achievement and reporting:
- Track and achieve KPIs, including savings accounts, AEPS withdrawals, Micro-ATM transactions, money transfers, financial services sales, QR recharges, and Fast Tag sales.
- Prepare reports for senior management, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
Distribution Expansion:
- Strengthen distribution coverage in weaker and rural geographies by onboarding new distributors and super distributors.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities.
Financial Management:
- Manage the zones budget to ensure cost-effective operations and financial efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree; Postgraduate or Masters degree preferred.
- 10-20 years of relevant experience in the FinTech industry with a proven track record in driving sales, managing teams, and achieving KPIs.
Skills and Experience:
- Industry Expertise: 0-20 years of experience in operations, sales, and strategic initiatives within the FinTech industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong team-building, leadership, and coaching abilities, with experience in appointing and managing teams effectively.
- Sales and Channel management: Proven success in driving channel sales, achieving ambitious sales targets, and managing market potential, channel appointments, and retail sales strategies.
- Business Growth: Demonstrated ability to expand business footprints and drive revenue growth in a zonal capacity.
- Adaptability and Travel: Willingness to adapt to dynamic market conditions and extensive travel within the zone as required.
- Market and Distribution Management: Experience in monitoring inventory levels, analyzing ROI profitability of channels, tracking competition activities, and expanding distribution networks.
- Strategic Thinking: Expertise in market analysis, collaboration, and implementing strategic business initiatives.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
