Job Title: Zonal Collection Manager - Personal Loans (Entire North)

Role Overview:

This role involves leading and managing all collection activities across the Northern region to minimize Non-Performing Assets (NPAs)(0-9Bucket) and optimize recovery for Personal loan products, emphasizing strategy, team management, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement robust collection strategies for the zone, focusing on early and late-stage delinquencies.

- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage large teams of collection officers and field agents.

- Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire assigned loan portfolio, ensuring target achievement for collections and reducing overdue accounts.

- Agency Management: Identify, empanel, and manage third-party collection agencies within the zone.

- Field Operations: Drive high-frequency field collection visits and ensure adherence to collection processes.

- Process Improvement: Leverage technology and data analytics to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.

- Performance Monitoring: Analyze collection metrics, delinquency rates, and recovery trends to report on zonal performance.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with customer service, operations, and sales teams for seamless resolution of customer issues and process alignment.

- Risk & Compliance: Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 10-15+ years in debt collection, loan recovery, with significant experience in team leadership (5+ years).

- Product Knowledge: Experience with unsecured loans (personal loans, MSME) and potentially secured products (vehicle/farm equipment finance).

- Leadership: Strong team management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Analytical: Ability to analyze data, assess business impact, and solve complex problems.

- Digital Orientation: Proactive in leveraging technology for process improvements.

- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
