Zonal Collection Manager

Description:

1. Collections & Recovery Management

- Drive collections across 30/60/90+ DPD buckets for HL/LAP portfolio.

- Achieve zone-level collection and resolution targets.

- Implement corrective and preventive actions for delinquent accounts.

- Monitor early warning signals and high-risk cases.

2. Portfolio & NPA Management

- Manage large loan book across multiple locations/branches.

- Reduce flow rates and minimize NPAs.

- Review portfolio performance through MIS and data analytics.

- Ensure portfolio quality improvement with strategic initiatives.

3. Team Leadership

- Lead, guide, and motivate Regional/Area Collection Managers.

- Set performance targets and review productivity.

- Train and mentor teams for better customer handling and recovery.

4. Legal & Compliance

- Coordinate legal recovery actions such as SARFAESI, arbitration, and property possession.

- Work closely with legal team for notices, repossessions, and auctions.

- Ensure compliance with RBI/NBFC guidelines across collection processes.

5. Agency & Vendor Management

- Appoint, manage, and monitor collection agencies and field teams.

- Drive productivity and compliance of external partners.

6. Customer Negotiation & Resolution

- Meet customers for critical cases and drive settlement/resolution.

- Ensure customer-centric approach while maintaining recovery discipline.

7. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Collaborate with Sales, Credit, Operations, and Legal teams for account resolutions and process improvements.
