Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Zonal Collection Manager (ZCM) to lead our Micro LAP (Loan Against Property) collections operations. The role involves leading field collections, managing agencies, reducing delinquency, The average ticket size for Micro LAP will range from - 10-15 lakhs.
Responsibilities:
- Drive monthly and quarterly collection targets for the Micro LAP business.
- Monitor bucket-wise (0-30, 30-60, 60-90, 90+) performance and ensure reduction in NPAs.
- Onboard and monitor collection agencies within the zone.
- Ensure timely allocation of cases and track agency performance.
- Manage legal vendors for SARFAESI, arbitration, and recovery actions.
- Negotiate settlements, restructures, and handle hardship scenarios as per policy.
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company SOPs, and code of conduct.
- Manage documentation, audit readiness, and timely reporting.
- Coordinate with credit, sales, and operations teams for end-to-end resolution.
- Drive repossession, legal notices, and other recovery actions when required.
Candidate Details:
- 10+ years' proven experience in an NBFC/HFC with a focus on Small ticket HL or LAP.
- Ability to derive the best outcome from a large team.
- Strong understanding of Micro LAP / Secured lending collections
- Excellent negotiation and people management skills
- Strong analytical and portfolio monitoring capability
- Knowledge of legal recovery processes (SARFAESI, arbitration, 138 cases)
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
