Position Title: Zonal Business Manager
Function: Sales
Reporting To: Circle Sales Head
Purpose of the Role
The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing an entire zone by overseeing a large team comprising Zonal Sales Managers (ZSMs) and Territory Sales Managers (TSMs). The key objective is to drive revenue and customer market share growth by executing robust sales and distribution strategies, ensuring operational excellence, and expanding market reach through efficient channel management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop, implement, and manage all zonal sales and distribution strategies to achieve revenue and customer acquisition goals.
- Business Growth: Drive gross additions, quality acquisitions, customer base management, and ensure compliance with regulatory norms.
- Product Management: Manage a portfolio of higher denomination recharges and company offerings effectively.
- Channel Development: Evaluate and enhance distribution width and depth, ensuring channel health and optimal market penetration.
- Team Leadership: Regularly assess team capabilities, mentor the sales force, and implement capability-building initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track and deliver revenue earning customers and improve net revenue.
- Network Enablement: Work closely with the network team to ensure seamless connectivity and service delivery for customers.
