About the Opportunity:
This role brings rigor and oversight to the systems marketing runs on - the data behind reporting and decisions, the routing that connects buyers to sales, and the platforms that keep campaigns running. You will shape how those systems are configured, documented, and improved over time.
This is not purely an execution role. You will provide oversight across the marketing data and platform stack, act as a second owner and backup so no platform depends on a single person, and build the processes that make the function more reliable.
What You Will Own:
- Provide oversight and serve as secondary owner across the data enrichment, hygiene, deduplication, and ingestion platforms, partnering with the team to keep data quality high across the marketing tech stack.
- Serve as secondary owner for lead routing and orchestration, partnering with Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to keep routing rules aligned to current territory and business rules.
- Steward the marketing-to-CRM data relationship - field mappings, sync health, list imports, and data governance between the marketing automation platform and the CRM.
- Partner with team to ensure clean, well-documented integrations across the data platforms and the broader marketing tech stack.
- A core responsibility. You will document everything you own - runbooks, routing logic, data dictionaries, integration maps.
What You Bring:
- Hands-on experience with data enrichment platforms for enrichment and list-building workflows - you understand how to design workflows, not just use templates.
- Demonstrated experience administering lead routing and orchestration tools, including routing rule design, assignment logic, and troubleshooting.
- Strong CRM knowledge - particularly around the lead, contact, account, and opportunity objects and how they relate to marketing campaign data.
- Experience with data hygiene and deduplication tools and a structured approach to data governance.
- Comfort working across a broad, connected tech stack - you can trace a lead from web form to CRM and identify where something broke.
- Exceptional documentation habits - you write things down proactively, not reactively.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with bulk data-loading tools for CRM operations.
- Exposure to marketing attribution concepts and revenue reporting.
- Experience supporting a marketing automation platform, even in a non-admin capacity.
- Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or technology company marketing ops function.
