Financial Controller for XSEED

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the accuracy and timely preparation of monthly financial results.

2. Ensures compliance with accounting principles and IFRS, corporate finance policies and procedures, internal control processes, risk management and finance reporting requirements.

3. Timely closure of Audit for all group entities

4. Own 100% compliance of all statutory matters for the group including all filings & assessments to various authorities.

5. Attending the various assessment meetings & proceedings in a timely manner and ensuring no adverse judgment/proceedings.

6. Ensure safety of the IP of the company & also ensure prompt action against any infringement of the company assets/IP.

7. Drafts and negotiates various agreements, from service contracts to commercial agreements, ensuring that all terms are drafted to protect Company's interests

The Person

1. Chartered Accountant (1st Attempt from 2012-16 batch) with 10-12 years experience

2. The ideal candidate would have articleship at a reputed CA firm (ideally a Big 4), experience at an operating multinational (min. 3-5 years), and then time at a startup/SME/mid size co (min. 3-5 years).

3. Independently handled all audit & compliance matters.

4. Experience/comfort with cross-border structures, transfer pricing, multiple legal entities, and GST will be a big advantage.

5. Direct speaking, good communication, with an independent point of view.
