About the Role : The role will require the individual to design data backed strategies for underwriting and collections at ZestMoney. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working on SQL and Python. The candidate will also be required to interact with multiple stakeholders to implement the strategies designed by him/her. Responsibilities: - Developing data backed strategies for ZestMoney's consumer loan and personal loan product to manage credit and fraud risk as well as improving collection efficiency. - Perform day to day analysis using SQL and Python to find opportunities to reduce risk while maintaining a growth trajectory. - Assess and enhance underwriting framework using traditional and non traditional data sources. - Monitor and track repayment patterns of existing portfolios and make changes in sourcing strategy. - Conduct POCs with data providers to improve underwriting and collections. - Collaborating with tech, data science, product and marketing teams to understand business requirements and get strategies implemented. The Ideal Candidate : - Understanding of credit/fraud/collection risk assessment and basic know-how of how the fintech industry works. - Prior experience on taking decisions backed by data and getting them implemented by stakeholders. - Good knowledge of SQL & Python languages for data extraction and building strategies. - Basic knowledge of how ML models work so that the candidate can consume the output of the model as well as work with the Data science team to evaluate the business impact of the models. - Good communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders on understanding the business requirements and getting strategies implemented. - Good analytical and problem solving skills to manage expectations with business stakeholders in terms of business impact of the work done.
