Designation: AD-HRBP Location: Bangalore Reporting to: Senior Director- HR OPs Core Areas: Warehouse specific HR strategic programs/HR Operations. Provide direct HR support to the business leading an overall onroll employee base of appx.150+ and contractual staff of approx. 4000+ and to the further expansion as well. About the Role: - As the HR Business Partner for Manpower Management, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of skilled and trained manpower on the floor, managing third-party contracts, controlling manpower costs, and fostering employee engagement and relations. - You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive effective HR strategies and initiatives, analyze data to understand trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to support operational objectives. Responsibilities Manpower Availability: - Ensure adequate manpower availability on the floor to meet operational requirements. - Manage third-party contracts (TPC) for outsourcing manpower as necessary. Training and Development: - Ensure an adequate number of trained manpower on the process by coordinating training programs and initiatives. Manpower Cost Control: - Identify alternative locations for manpower hiring to optimize costs. - Control hiring, transportation, and other associated costs related to manpower management. Stakeholder Management: - Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of HR strategies with business objectives. Employee Relations and Engagement: - Take ownership of end-to-end employee relations and engagement activities. - Ensure a highly engaged and skilled workforce through various initiatives and programs. Query Handling/Resolution: - Handle employee queries and concerns promptly and effectively to maintain a positive work environment. HR Policy Implementation: - Implement HR policies and procedures consistently across the organization. Team Coaching and Guidance: - Provide coaching and guidance to HR team members to support their professional development and performance. Data Analysis and Interpretation: - Analyze HR data to understand trends and patterns. - Use data-driven insights to take corrective actions and improve HR processes. Attrition and Absenteeism Analysis: - Analyze attrition trends and identify possible factors contributing to attrition. - Analyze absenteeism trends, especially during special events like festive seasons and academic examinations. Support Operations: - Formulate plans to support operations during special events by implementing attendance incentive schemes and alternative temporary manpower hiring plans. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (master's degree in HR or related stream preferred from tier 1/tier 2 institutes). - 7-10 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on manpower management (White collar and Blue Collar) and Industrial/Employee relations. - Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as labour laws and regulations. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions. - Previous experience in coaching and guiding HR team members is preferred.
