Senior Director - Motherhub Operations (7-15 yrs)

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Responsibilities:

1. Dry Handling & Processing:

- Oversee receipt, processing, packaging, and storage of dry products in compliance with food safety regulations.

- Monitor and maintain processing and storage equipment to ensure quality and safety.

2. Quality Control & Compliance:

- Enforce QC protocols, HACCP, and FDA standards through regular audits, shelf-life testing, and safety checks.

- Maintain facility compliance with local and international food safety standards.

3. Warehouse & Inventory Management:

- Manage stock levels, temperature controls, and FIFO rotation to prevent shortages or overstocking.

- Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely inventory replenishment.

4. Team Leadership:

- Lead, train, and support production, warehouse, and QA teams on safety, hygiene, and best practices.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

5. Supply Chain & Distribution:

- Partner with logistics to optimize delivery routes, reduce transport costs, and meet schedules.

- Manage supplier and vendor relationships to guarantee steady raw material supply.

6. Health, Safety & Hygiene:

- Enforce strict sanitation, hygiene, and equipment cleaning schedules.

- Maintain emergency protocols for contamination, equipment failure, or supply chain delays.

7. Budget & Cost Control:

- Manage operational budgets, minimize waste, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Track and report key metrics (production volumes, waste, profitability).

8. Order Fulfillment & Customer Relations:

- Ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment and resolve quality or delivery issues.

- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to meet demand and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

- Degree in Food Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Certifications in food safety or dairy processing (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) are preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years in motherhub operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2.5 years in leadership roles within a Dry or dairy processing facility.

- Experience in managing inventory, quality control processes, and team supervision in a food production or dairy environment.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.

- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage budgets, track operational performance, and ensure cost-effective operations.

- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control practices specific to dairy products.
