Job Summary: The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization. This role involves conducting internal audits, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Internal Audits: - Plan and execute internal audit engagements. - Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. - Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements. Risk Assessment: - Assess the organization's risk factors and develop strategies to mitigate them. - Monitor changes in the business environment to identify emerging risks. Compliance: - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. - Investigate any instances of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions. Financial Analysis: - Analyze financial statements and reports to identify anomalies or irregularities. - Provide insights into financial performance and recommend improvements. Reporting: - Prepare comprehensive and clear audit reports. - Communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders. Process Improvement: - Collaborate with departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. - Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. Documentation: - Maintain accurate and detailed audit documentation. - Ensure documentation is in compliance with auditing standards. Team Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights. - Provide guidance and training on internal control best practices. What do you need? - Professional certification CA - 2 years of Proven experience in internal auditing or a related field. - Big 4, Ecommerce, Startup experience is preferred. - Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and audit methodologies. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
