Job description for Associate - Accounts and Finance 1. Assist in the overall accounting of Funds and the investment manager. The candidate should be conversant with the Accounting Standards, IFRS and USGAAP. 2. Prepare payment vouchers with appropriate tax withholding for the Fund and the manager and booking of receipt vouchers with appropriate GST and/or other levies. 3. Preparation of monthly accounts of the manager. 4. Assist in the preparation of monthly cashflow budget Vs actual comparison. 5. Ensure timely payment of tax (direct and indirect), timely filing of tax returns (quarterly and annual) of all Funds and the investment manager. 6. Ensure bi-monthly reimbursement of expenses and quarterly collection of management fees from Funds to the investment manager. 7. Coordinate with administrators of Funds (Offshore and Onshore) regularly for Fund related activities. 8. Prepare Capital call workings and distribution workings and investor communication documents for capital call and distribution. 9. Prepare unit capital statements, tax estimates and capital account summaries of Funds' investors on a quarterly basis. 10. Prepare annual capital account statements and provide information for K-1s annually 11. Work with the members of the investment team and the marketing team for quarterly/periodic investor reports for all Funds. 12. Work with different teams to provide assistance with data compilation for fund raising. 13. Maintain investment register of all Funds. 14. Assist in quarterly valuations of portfolio companies and assist in collation valuation back-ups for audit. 15. Assist in the timely completion of audit of all Funds and the investment manager. 16. Assist in the compilation of information pertaining to Fund and Investment IRRs. 17. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual report for few specific investors about portfolio companies and their compliances. 18. Assist in various regulatory compliances - SEBI quarterly reports, review of RBI monthly report, Taxation and Corporate compliances 19. The candidate should be a team player, self-starter and possess good communication skills. 20. Good knowledge of MS Office
