About Tax1099:
Tax1099 is Zenworks e-file platform used by businesses and accounting firms to create, deliver, and e-file 1099 and other IRS information returns.
Demand peaks NovemberJanuary ahead of January 31 deadlines; trust and accuracy drive decisions.
Role Summary:
Own and execute all outbound digital pipeline for Tax1099 as an individual contributorcold email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, targeted lists, and micro-ABM playsto generate qualified meetings, sales-qualified leads (SQLs), and pipeline.
Partners with: Product Marketing, Sales (AEs), RevOps, Partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Define ICP; build, segment, and enrich target lists; maintain suppressions and list hygiene.
- Craft compliant cold email + LinkedIn outreach; run multi-step sequences and structured tests.
- Launch agile programs (net-new, re-engage, partner/event follow-ups) with clear CTAs.
- Track funnel performance end-to-end; publish weekly insights and iterate.
- Coordinate tight AE handoffs, meeting prep, and feedback loops.
Qualifications:
- 4-8 years in B2B demand gen/growth with hands-on cold email + LinkedIn execution.
- Proven track record of self-sourced SQLs and pipeline (no BDR/SDR support).
- Strong copywriting, deliverability knowledge, and data hygiene discipline.
- Comfortable with HubSpot/Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Apollo/Outreach, and enrichment tools.
Success Metrics (overview):
- Sales-Qualified Leads (SQLs) generated from outbound.
- Qualified meetings booked with ICP accounts.
- Outbound-sourced pipeline created.
