Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) with at least 3 years of experience in sales and lead generation. This role combines hands-on sales responsibilities with the leadership and development of a team of SDR interns. The ideal candidate is persuasive, goal-oriented, and eager to both drive revenue growth and mentor the next generation of sales talent.

ZenTrades empowers tradesmen with an AI assistant, LISA (co-pilot), to enhance their sales and service capabilities using Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Growth: Identify and develop new sales opportunities through research, outreach, and networking.
- Sales Management: Pitch products and/or services, manage client accounts, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Relationship Building: Maintain and grow long-term, fruitful relationships with existing customers.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Manage, mentor, and coach SDR interns to ensure productivity, skill development, and achievement of team goals.
- Train interns on best practices for lead generation, cold calling, and sales communication.
- Monitor and evaluate SDR intern performance, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership on scaling the SDR function and refining sales strategies.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Make outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to potential clients.
- Understand client needs, offer tailored solutions, and provide consultative support.
- Guide clients through the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Meet or exceed annual sales quotas, team goals, and personal KPIs.
- Maintain accurate reporting of leads, pipeline, and performance metrics in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with management on forecasting, planning, and optimizing sales processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven sales or SDR experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Previous experience mentoring or managing junior sales staff, interns, or SDRs.
- Strong background in lead generation, prospect management, and pipeline development.
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and cold calling.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; confident in client-facing conversations.
- Persuasive, resilient, and highly motivated to achieve results.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance metrics and refine strategies.
- Tenacity to handle rejection while maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
