About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager with a strong background in BFSI and IT services to manage and grow strategic client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the BFSI domain and a proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic account management, client engagement, and delivery oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a portfolio of BFSI accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and satisfaction.
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling IT services and solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business and technology needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (delivery, pre-sales, solutions, marketing) to craft client-centric solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and SOW (Statement of Work) creation.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of service delivery, SLA adherence, and issue resolution.
- Forecast revenue and manage P&L for assigned accounts.
- Drive account planning, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and strategic initiatives with clients.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in BFSI.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in IT Services Sales/Account Management, with a focus on the BFSI sector.
- Strong knowledge of BFSI processes, regulatory landscape, and technology ecosystems.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar accounts and delivering consistent revenue growth.
- Ability to navigate complex client environments and engage with C-level executives.
- Familiarity with IT services such as Application Development, Cloud, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation, and Managed Services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Tier-1 BFSI clients.
- Exposure to global delivery models (onsite/offshore).
- Understanding of FinTech trends and digital disruption in BFSI.
