About Zen Kashi Cancer Hospital:
Zen Kashi Cancer Hospital is a fast-growing oncology-focused healthcare organization working to build accessible and high-quality cancer care in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India. The organization is backed by experienced founders and investors and is focused on building scalable hospital models across North India.
We are expanding rapidly and looking for a Unit Head who can lead operations, scale hospital utilization, and build strong systems for the next phase of growth.
Role Overview:
- The Unit Head will be responsible for end-to-end management of hospital operations, revenue growth, and team leadership.
- This role requires a strong operator-builder mindset - someone who can manage day-to-day hospital operations while also driving strategic growth initiatives.
- The role will work directly with the founders and senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hospital Operations Leadership:
- Lead and manage overall hospital operations including OPD, IPD, ICU, OT, diagnostics, and pharmacy
- Drive operational efficiency and patient experience improvements
- Ensure optimal bed utilization, OT utilization, and service efficiency
2. Growth & Revenue Strategy:
- Drive hospital revenue growth through improved utilization and service expansion
- Identify new service lines and growth opportunities
- Build strong doctor referral networks and partnerships
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams including clinical, nursing, and administrative staff
- Build strong operational processes and performance tracking systems
- Support hiring, training, and leadership development within the hospital
4. Process & Systems Development:
- Implement structured SOPs and operational dashboards
- Improve workflow efficiency and patient journey management
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards
5. Strategic Initiatives:
- Work with founders on hospital expansion strategy
- Support new hospital launches and operational scale-up
- Contribute to long-term healthcare delivery model development
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- MBA from a Tier-1 / Tier-2 institute (IIM, ISB, FMS, MDI, etc.)
- 5-10 years of experience in healthcare, hospital operations, consulting, or healthcare startups
- Strong analytical and operational problem-solving ability
- Experience managing large teams or multi-department operations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work in a fast-growing environment
