Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Manager - Domestic Purchase to lead end-to-end procurement operations. The role requires strong expertise in vendor management, sourcing strategy, and cost optimization, along with the ability to manage cross-functional coordination and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing:
- Manage end-to-end domestic procurement including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing activities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers across regions
- Develop sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards
Vendor Management & Negotiation:
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve optimal commercial outcomes
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors
- Evaluate vendor performance and drive continuous improvement
Operations & Coordination:
- Create and process purchase orders ensuring timely procurement cycles
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and finance teams for smooth operations
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material supply
Process & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and internal compliance frameworks
- Maintain accurate documentation and procurement records
- Drive standardization and process improvements
Market Intelligence & Cost Optimization:
- Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier benchmarks
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering practices
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor procurement team members
- Drive decision-making and accountability within the team
Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
Experience & Skills:
- 6-14 years of experience in domestic procurement/purchase
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities
- Good understanding of procurement lifecycle and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in Hindi and English (mandatory)
Preferred:
- Experience in Electronics / Consumer Durables industry
- Proven track record in cost optimization and vendor development

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- High ownership with a result-driven mindset
