YesMadam is a tech-enabled at-home beauty and wellness platform, serving millions of customers across multiple cities in India. We are building a technology-led consumer platform that connects customers with professional beauty and wellness services through a seamless digital experience.

As we scale across cities, we are looking for a VP Engineering to lead our engineering organization and build a highly scalable, reliable and high-performing technology platform.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on VP Engineering who will own the overall engineering organization, technology execution and engineering strategy.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical depth, product thinking, business understanding and people leadership. You will work closely with the founders, product and business leadership to translate company objectives into scalable technology solutions and ensure fast, reliable product delivery.

This role is ideal for an engineering leader who has successfully built and scaled engineering teams and consumer-facing technology products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own engineering planning, execution, delivery and organizational effectiveness.

- Establish engineering standards, development practices and technical governance.

- Build a high-performance engineering culture focused on ownership, quality and speed.

- Drive engineering productivity and continuously improve development processes.

- Own the overall technology architecture and long-term technical roadmap.

- Design and scale highly available, secure and reliable consumer-facing platforms.

- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data and Business teams to deliver high-impact initiatives.

- Build, structure and scale the engineering organization as the business grows.

- Work directly with founders and senior leadership on technology and business priorities.

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in software/product engineering.

- 2+ years of experience in senior engineering leadership roles such as VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, Engineering Director or equivalent.

- Proven experience managing and scaling large engineering organizations.

- Strong understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, APIs, databases and cloud technologies.

- Hands-on experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms.

- Experience building and scaling consumer-facing web/mobile applications.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
