Job Summary:

The Project Management Officer (PMO) - Hospital Expansion supports the planning, monitoring, and control of hospital expansion and infrastructure projects. The role ensures project governance, documentation, scheduling, reporting, and coordination across stakeholders to enable timely and compliant project delivery within healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Monitoring:

- Support development and maintenance of project schedules, milestones, and work plans

- Track project progress against timelines, budgets, and deliverables

- Assist in identifying delays, risks, and dependencies and escalate issues appropriately

Reporting & Governance:

- Prepare regular project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership

- Maintain project documentation including plans, approvals, change logs, and meeting minutes

- Ensure adherence to project management standards, processes, and controls

Coordination & Communication:

- Coordinate with internal teams (clinical, operations, biomedical, IT) and external consultants

- Facilitate project meetings, follow-ups, and action tracking

- Act as a communication bridge between project teams and hospital management

Compliance & Quality Support:

- Assist in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, safety norms, and accreditation standards

- Support quality audits, inspections, and documentation reviews

Cost, Procurement & Vendor Support:

- Assist in tracking project budgets, invoices, and expenditures

- Support procurement processes, vendor coordination, and contract documentation

- Monitor consultant and contractor deliverables against agreed scopes

Risk & Change Management:

- Maintain risk registers and change management logs

- Support impact analysis for scope, schedule, and cost changes

- Assist in mitigation planning and follow-up actions

Project Close-Out & Handover:

- Support testing, commissioning, and handover documentation

- Ensure completion of as-built drawings, warranties, and project records

- Assist in lessons-learned and project closure reports
