YASH Technologies - Tech Lead - Data Modelling

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop logical, physical, and conceptual data models to represent key business entities and relationships.

- Utilize tools such as Erwin or other relevant data modelling software to create accurate data models on the Azure platform.

- Perform data profiling and analysis to refine, validate, and maintain data models.

- Communicate physical database designs to DBAs and explain their impacts on overall data models.

- Collaborate with business and development teams to translate requirements into Big Data solutions and detailed technical specifications.

- Present and communicate modelling results, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

- Establish and enforce governance processes to ensure architecture compliance during implementation.

- Engage proactively with stakeholders to address business problems through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

- Analyze system integration challenges and propose scalable, data-centric solutions.

- Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and industry best practices.

- Collaborate internationally with cross-functional stakeholders and engage with clients to clarify requirements.

- Coordinate and plan Cloud Infrastructure activities and manage system outages effectively.

- Optimize data model performance through caching, parallel execution, and bulk loading techniques.

- Lead and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance to ensure high-quality delivery.

- Build, test, and maintain robust database pipeline architectures aligned with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 8- 10 years of experience in data modelling for data warehousing and Big Data solutions.

- Proficiency in Erwin or similar data modelling tools.

- Strong experience with the Azure cloud platform and its related data services.

- Excellent skills in data profiling, data analysis, and performance tuning.

- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex data concepts clearly and

effectively.

- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.

- Experience enforcing data governance and security policies.

- Domain expertise in at least one of the following: Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, or Finance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

- Experience working in international and cross-functional teams.
