Experience & Background:

- Minimum 15+ years of overall experience, including substantial experience in product ownership or technical leadership roles.

- Proven track record of delivering data engineering, analytics, and cloud-based projects using Databricks and Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the Product Owner for data engineering and analytics initiatives, defining the product vision, roadmap, and delivery priorities.

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to data engineers, solution architects, and cross-functional delivery teams.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data productsfrom conceptualization and design to development, testing, and deployment.

- Drive execution of data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

- Partner with engineering teams to ensure effective implementation of data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions.

- Leverage strong SQL capabilities for data validation, analysis, and solution design.

- Utilize Power BI for data visualization, dashboarding, and generating actionable insights.

- Ensure delivery excellence using Agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, backlog refinement, and review sessions.

- Develop documentation, maintain product artifacts, and ensure clear communication across teams.

- Provide risk management, issue resolution, and decision-making support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, and Azure cloud ecosystem (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, etc.

- Excellent understanding of data engineering concepts, data governance, and scalable architecture patterns.

- Deep expertise in SQL for querying, modeling, and performance tuning.

- Working knowledge of Power BI for analytics and reporting.

- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
