Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities and optimizing existing channels.
- Set and monitor annual and quarterly sales targets for teams and regions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales objectives.
- Establish a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs, coaching, and career development initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR to identify, hire, and retain top sales talent.
Financial Management
- Oversee the sales departments P&L, ensuring targets for revenue, margins, and profitability are met.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, monitor expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Provide regular financial forecasts and variance analysis to senior leadership.
Market Analysis & Business Development
- Conduct detailed market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting to identify growth opportunities.
- Formulate go-to-market strategies for new product launches or market expansion.
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance business reach.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention through service excellence and value delivery.
- Address customer issues and feedback promptly to maintain strong brand reputation.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including net and retail sales, pipeline conversion, and market penetration.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and present insights to executive management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product Management to align business strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns, promotions, and lead generation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or general management role.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and leading large sales teams.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L and sales budgets.
