The Mission
Yal is at the intersection of AI, communication, and human connection. We aren't looking for a traditional marketer who hides behind a dashboard. We need a Growth & Strategy Officer who understands how to navigate the technical complexities of a SaaS/AI product while placing it into the hands of the B2C consumer with "quiet luxury" precision. You will be the architect of our market presence, turning technical excellence into a cultural movement.
The Mandate
- Strategic Growth Engineering: Design and lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. You aren't just looking for users; you are looking for retention and advocacy.
- Product Placement & Narrative: Work where the product meets the person. You will determine how Yal is "placed" in the digital ecosystem - identifying the right influencers, platforms, and contexts that align with a high-end, high-utility B2C brand.
- Tech-Fluent Marketing: You must speak "Dev." You will collaborate with our engineering teams to build growth loops directly into the product (referral mechanics, viral features, and UX-led hooks).
- Out-of-the-Box Acquisition: Forget standard Google Ads. We want viral engineering, strategic "stunt" campaigns, and community-driven growth that bypasses the noise of a crowded tech market.
- Data Strategy: While we value intuition, you will build the infrastructure to measure what matters. You'll analyze LTV (Lifetime Value), CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), and churn with a technical lens.
Who You Are
- Tech Native: You have a deep understanding of the tech space. Whether it's AI, LLMs, or distributed systems, you understand the "why" behind the product, not just the "how."
- B2C Success Story: You have a proven track record of scaling a consumer-facing tech product. You know how to trigger "FOMO" and build "Hype" while maintaining brand integrity.
- The Strategist: You think three moves ahead. You don't just solve today's acquisition problem; you build the strategy that makes Yal the default choice for the next three years.
- Creative Disruptor: You hate "best practices" because they lead to average results. You prefer to experiment, break things, and find the "unfair advantage."
Technical & Professional Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in Growth, Marketing, or Strategy roles, specifically within a B2C Tech/Startup environment.
- Analytical Stack: Deep comfort with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar) and attribution modeling.
- Narrative Power: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical features into simple, "must-have" consumer benefits.
- Network: An existing pulse on the tech ecosystem, creator economy, and digital placement partners.
