Your Mission
As the Manager EXIM, you will drive the end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring smooth, compliant, and cost-effective international trade processes.
Youll lead a high-performing team, streamline vendor ecosystems, manage global logistics partners, and bring data-driven insights to optimize cost, timelines, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import Management: Oversee imports of LED/LCD panels, media players, and related hardware from global suppliers.
- Export Operations: Manage exports to international markets such as the US, Dubai, and other key regions, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Vendor & Partner Ecosystem: Build and nurture relationships with global vendors, freight forwarders, CHAs, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-efficient operations.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to BIS, CE, FCC, RoHS, e-waste, and customs regulations.
- Maintain all required import/export documentation and licenses.
- Process Optimization: Leverage data and analytics to monitor shipment cycles, customs data, pricing trends, and logistics performance.
- Create dashboards and MIS reports to support strategic decisions.
- Quality & Delivery Oversight: Supervise QC, freight management, customs clearance, and last-mile logistics for seamless delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and cross-train the import team to handle export operations.
- Conduct Agile-style scrums, periodic reviews, and performance improvement cycles.
- Budget & Cost Management: Plan and manage annual budgets, negotiate freight and vendor costs, and ensure cost-effective trade operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- 8 - 12 years of hands-on experience in importexport management, preferably in electronics, hardware, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven knowledge of customs regulations, import/export documentation, incoterms, and trade compliance.
- Experience in working with global logistics partners, freight forwarders, and CHA agents.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with ownership and accountability.
