Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director Solution Architecture, International DDP to lead the architecture strategy and solution design for the international expansion of the Digital Distribution Platform (DDP) across EMEA, APAC, and CALA. Following the successful development and deployment of the North America DDP solution landscape, this role will focus on assessing, adapting, and scaling the platform for diverse international business environments. The Senior Director will act as a critical bridge between the established North America DDP capabilities and the unique operational, regulatory, commercial, technology, and customer requirements of international markets. The role combines enterprise solution architecture, business transformation, ERP and supply chain expertise, strategic leadership, and global stakeholder management. The successful candidate will work closely with regional business leaders, enterprise technology teams, product organizations, architecture leadership, and delivery partners to establish scalable global patterns while enabling appropriate regional flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the international solution architecture strategy for expansion of the Digital Distribution Platform across EMEA, APAC, and CALA.
- Assess the existing North America DDP architecture, capabilities, processes, and operating model.
- Identify reusable global architecture patterns, capabilities, services, and components.
- Define future-state international DDP architecture models aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Balance global platform standardization with legitimate regional and country-specific requirements.
- Establish scalable architecture principles for international deployments.
- Analyze gaps between existing North America DDP capabilities and international business requirements.
- Lead regional capability assessments and architecture discovery initiatives.
- Translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Assess regional processes, customer expectations, operational models, regulatory requirements, and technology constraints.
- Develop recommendations for platform enhancements, localization, integrations, and regional capabilities.
- Support prioritization of regional requirements and define phased transformation strategies.
- Drive architecture decisions across key enterprise domains, including ERP, Supply Chain Management, Order Management, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Global Trade Management, Customer Experience, Enterprise Integration, Data and Analytics, and Digital Commerce.
- Ensure that architecture decisions address scalability, performance, security, availability, integration, maintainability, operational excellence, and regional adaptability.
- Define ERP-based and enterprise platform solutions aligned with global business objectives and regional operating models.
- Support global ERP transformation and harmonization initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between DDP capabilities and core enterprise business processes.
- Provide architecture leadership across processes including: 1. Order-to-Cash (OTC) 2. Procure-to-Pay (P2P) 3. Record-to-Report (RTR) 4. Demand and Supply Planning 5. Warehouse Operations 6. Transportation Management 7. Global Trade Management.
- Ensure end-to-end integration across front-office, mid-office, and back-office systems.
- Assess and address international localization requirements.
- Support architecture decisions related to country-specific: 1. Regulatory requirements 2. Tax requirements 3. Localization 4. Financial processes 5. Business processes 6. Data requirements 7. Operational models.
- Define reusable architecture patterns that minimize unnecessary country-specific customization.
- Ensure international solutions remain aligned with global platform standards wherever possible.
- Partner with regional business and operational leaders to understand market-specific needs.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data, ERP, and Delivery teams.
- Work closely with global DDP architecture leadership and North America platform teams.
- Present architecture recommendations and transformation strategies to executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate architecture decisions across geographically distributed and matrixed teams.
- Influence stakeholders toward scalable, standardized, and business-aligned solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and solution design governance for international deployments.
- Establish architecture standards, principles, reference models, and reusable patterns.
- Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, constraints, and technical debt.
- Ensure architecture decisions support long-term platform scalability and operational sustainability.
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies across international DDP deployments.
- Drive adoption of: 1. Cloud-first architecture 2. AI-enabled enterprise platforms 3. Intelligent workflows 4. Automation 5. Advanced analytics 6. Digital platform capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies based on business value, scalability, security, and operational impact.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation across the architecture landscape.
- Provide architectural leadership to solution architects and technical teams supporting international deployments.
- Mentor and develop architecture talent across regional programs.
- Establish architecture best practices and knowledge-sharing mechanisms.
- Support delivery teams in resolving complex technical and architectural challenges.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are desirable.
- 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Solution Architecture, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Platforms, or related technology leadership roles.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise transformation programs within global organizations.
- Significant experience working with ERP ecosystems, supply chain platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Experience adapting enterprise platforms to international and regional business models.
- Experience working within matrixed, globally distributed organizations.
- Experience leading architecture across complex transformation programs.

- Regular collaboration with teams across United States, APAC, EMEA, and CALA time zones.
- Occasional international travel may be required.
