Operations Manager/Lead for SuperTeacher Schools Business (XSEED) (10-15 yrs)

Challenge/Problem Statement

To be the single window of control, delivery, delight for both physical product delivery and customer service management to enable 95% customer retention - on time, high quality, lowest cost.

Role

We are looking for an exceptional operations person to lead and manage both product delivery and service delivery of the unique SuperTeacher program in schools in India.

The Job

- Management of vendors for warehousing, supply chain, delivery

- Oversee/ensure procurement of materials (time/quality/cost)

- Optimization of cost and quality of physical materials

- Oversee service delivery centrally including contact center and tech support

- Strong use of IT/Tech to improve quality, tracking, monitoring, and control of product delivery and service delivery

- Build/strengthen/motivate small tight team around sub-parts i.e. warehousing, logistics, procurement, contact center, tech support

The Person

- Engineer (NIT level) with Operations focus, MBA is useful, not necessary. NITIE type candidates preferred.

- 3 - 5 years top scaled product cum service operations company (eg GE, Amazon) and 3-5years start up experience (combining tech,product, & SERVICE - ideally b2b sme; maybe home improvement businesses, food delivery etc)

- So about 10 years experience, maturity of an older person (usually happens when you have 'seen' some adversity in life)

- Person: (i) has quick/responsive problem solving type person, (ii) orderly, systematic, tech oriented (iii) calm under pressure (iv) can execute independently (hands-on, hardworking, demanding/pushy, yet manages people ) (v) communicates well (cannot have extreme introvert) (vi) looking for something 'more than a job'
