
The Senior Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for leading the organizations enterprise application strategy, with a strong focus on ERP, Financial, Sales, and operational systems. This role will oversee the implementation, integration, optimization, and governance of platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and other enterprise financial and sales applications, ensuring alignment with business strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term growth objectives.
What Will You Do?
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Enterprise Applications strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Partner with executive leadership to define technology roadmaps and long-term vision
- Ensure enterprise application investments support scalability, efficiency, and business growth
- Identify emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage
Enterprise Application Implementation & Management:
Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and ongoing management of enterprise applications, including:
- ERP systems (NetSuite or equivalent)
- CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar)
- Financial, Sales, and operational enterprise applications
- Ensure seamless system integration and reliable data flow across platforms
- Oversee upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Enterprise Application Portfolio Management:
- Maintain a holistic view of the enterprise application landscape
- Evaluate applications for performance, scalability, and business alignment
- Drive decisions related to application modernization, consolidation, or retirement
Digital Transformation:
- Champion digital transformation initiatives across Finance, Sales, and Operations
- Leverage automation, analytics, cloud, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve business outcomes
- Ensure consistency, reliability, and security across enterprise platforms
Business Process Optimization:
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Optimize workflows such as record-to-report, quote-to-cash, and order-to-fulfillment
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of application leaders, architects, developers, and analysts
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Budgeting, Resource & Vendor Management:
- Develop and manage the enterprise applications budget
- Prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively
- Manage vendor relationships and implementation partners
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Define KPIs to measure application performance, adoption, and business impact
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on system performance, risks, and project status
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise application implementation and management
- 10+ years of leadership experience overseeing ERP, CRM, and enterprise platforms
- Hands-on experience implementing and scaling Financial, Sales, and operational enterprise application
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree
- Proven experience implementing NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms
- Strong understanding of financial systems, sales operations, and enterprise integrations
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Expertise in project management, change management, and budget management.
