Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

- Analyst Investment Operations and Research Support.

- The analyst main responsibilities will be to support the senior investment team in operations & research like.

- Prepare MIS of investment holdings/performance on daily/weekly basis.

- Coordinate with custody and back end operations team for MIS reports.

- Preparation of NAVs for the various products on weekly/monthly basis.

- Maintain and update research database.

- Help in execution of trades by liaising with brokers, custodian and administrators. Any other ancillary task to support the investment team.

- The incumbent will gradually be progressed towards Research or Dealing/Execution team based on his performance and career path.

- Deal Execution: Assist in the execution of mergers, acquisitions, and capital market transactions by performing detailed financial analysis, modeling, and valuation work.

- Client Interaction: Support the senior bankers in client meetings, preparing presentation materials, and ensuring that client needs are met.

- Financial Modeling and Valuation: Prepare complex financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) models, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.

- Pitch Materials and Presentations: Develop pitch books and presentation decks to support client engagements and new business development efforts.

- Market and Industry Research: Conduct in-depth market and industry analysis to provide insights for clients, including financial trends, competitor landscapes, and regulatory updates.

- Transaction Documentation: Support the preparation of transaction documentation, such as offering memorandums, due diligence reports, and term sheets.

- Team Collaboration: Work alongside senior bankers and other associates to ensure smooth transaction execution and support day-to-day deal management.

- Project Management: Manage the flow of information between clients, legal teams, accountants, and other external advisors to ensure deadlines are met.

- Ensure highest quality of service to business area and stakeholders.

- Maintaining green KPI across clients/process.

- Ensure that all operational functions within the scope of NAV production and Statutory Reporting are performed as per laid down standard operating procedures and PLAs.

- Complete all activities for NAV calculation or Validation such as pricing, resolution of breaks, posting accounting entries etc. accurately in the accounting system.

Skills And Qualifications:

Educational Background:

- MBA from a reputed institution or a CFA/CA with a strong academic record.

- Bachelor & aposs degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required.

Experience:

- 2-12 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.

- Strong experience with financial modeling and valuation.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Industry Knowledge:

- A good understanding of the Indian financial markets, corporate structures, and regulatory environment.

- Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and financial statements.
