The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the companys business expansion by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and overseeing all major business development activities. The role involves handling key B2B accounts, developing sales strategies, exploring new markets, and ensuring consistent revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the food ingredients, edible oil, spices, flavors, and seasoning industry, with exposure to HORECA and QSR clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Expansion & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic business growth plans aligned with company goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer behaviour, and consumer insights to identify new business opportunities.
- Lead business planning activities, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and expansions into new categories or regions.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including QSR chains, HORECA, manufacturing units, and large corporate accounts.
- Conduct requirement gathering, propose customized solutions, and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Handle escalations, negotiate contracts, and ensure profitable business deals.
Key Account Management
- Manage and expand the companys portfolio of B2B customers.
- Maintain regular communication with decision-makers and influencers in client companies.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and consistent product delivery.
Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify high-potential accounts and drive conversions.
- Track and report performance metrics against targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with departments like R&D, product development, supply chain, marketing, and finance.
