About the Investment Banking Division:

X-B4 Investment Banking vertical follows a sector focused investment banking practice that was set-up in 2021. The team has worked on range of transaction ranging from Minority to Control deals. It is recognized in industry to provide its clients with objective expert advice on a full array of services including private equity, mergers & acquisitions advisory & corporate finance advisory. Over the years, we have established an enviable track record of successful deal closures in the Auto, Industrials, Consumer and Consumer- tech, Healthcare, Chemicals sectors.

The Role : The position is a front office Associate/Manager role in Investment Banking team. We are preferably looking for MBA/CA with 3-4 years of work experience in Front-end IB side roles only. Candidates should be comfortable with accounting and have a strong understanding of financial statements & valuation. Candidates with experience in building detailed financial models will be given preference. We also expect our Associates to have a strong academic background, be articulate, have good written communication skills, and have a good working knowledge of MS PPT & Excel. What is the expectation on a daily basis:

Transaction Execution (70% of the Time spent):

- End-to-end execution of transactions under guidance from Senior colleagues and Partners

- Sector Coverage and high-quality research. Maintenance of Transaction Comps, Listed Comps

- Preparation of high-quality financial models, pitch-books, information memorandums, presentations, & other communication materials for clients and investors.

- Support on deal closure documents including term sheets, SSA, SHA and other legal documents.

Client and Stakeholder Management (20% of the Time Spent):

- Interact with clients/entrepreneurs on a daily basis, understand their key concerns and address them with colleagues, modify & incorporate in deal messaging accordingly

- Help clients streamline their overall data packet, including but not limited to their MIS, historical financials, other company related information

- Build long-term relationships with stakeholders - including Institutional investors, HNIs, etc.

Deal Sourcing Exposure/building knowledge assets (10% of the Time Spent):

- Build industry and company investment thesis: Conduct research & analysis on different industries, competitive dynamics, macro-factors, and positioning of different players within the chosen industry

- Pro-actively Identify opportunities & support the team in origination & conversion of leads.
