Role Purpose :

- Lead, develop, and enhance sourcing by optimizing and standardizing procurement processes to drive cost savings, ensure compliance, and build strong supplier partnerships. Leverage digital capabilities to enable continuous improvement, market intelligence, and effective information management within the Global Corporate Procurement function.

- Support and influence sourcing and category strategies (including workflows) through effective management, analysis, and decision-making, delivering continuous value creation.

- Drive value propositions and continuous improvement initiatives across the global corporate procurement function by working closely with suppliers and indirect procurement teams.

- The role is accountable for the day-to-day management and coordination of sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and internal stakeholder engagement. This includes coordinating multiple workstreams, facilitating new initiatives, providing governance to regional indirect procurement teams, and contributing to sourcing decisions.

- The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across global operations to ensure timely and effective delivery of all assigned requirements.

Principal Duties :


- Aggregate enterprise-wide volumes to maximize purchasing power and achieve cost efficiencies.

- Lead strategies to negotiate and/or renegotiate major service contracts, ensuring favorable terms and high service standards.

- Benchmark current and historical spend to identify savings opportunities and improve procurement practices.

- Organize spend into key categories and develop tailored strategies for each.

- Define and implement global or regional category strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Identify strategic supplier partnerships to drive innovation and value.

- Recommend commercial structures such as rebates, volume discounts, reverse auctions, and incentivized service level agreements.

- Develop and execute global procurement strategies, policies, systems, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.

- Analyze market trends and forecast procurement needs to proactively support the business.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key global suppliers, ensuring quality and reliability.

- Monitor supplier performance and address issues to maintain high standards.

- Support the purchase-to-pay process, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.

- Monitor and report procurement KPIs.

- Drive spend management and analysis, including supplier and commodity segmentation to inform strategic relationships.

- Analyze current work practices to identify and implement improvements across operating, technical, and administrative processes.

- Contribute to a robust governance framework aligned with contractual commitments, while encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.

- Partner with regional supply chain leadership to ensure full visibility and reporting of managed spend.

- Identify and coordinate corrective actions where supplier performance is unsatisfactory.

- Contribute to the development and execution of overall sourcing strategy.

- Build strong collaborative relationships with regional Supply Chain leadership teams.

- Strengthen relationships with key internal customers.

- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills, adapting style and approach to suit the audience. Confidently facilitate discussions and present with clarity and authority, contributing as a respected voice in senior forums.

About You :

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- A Bachelor's/PG degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Global Corporate Procurement in a lead or sub-lead capacity.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and execute complex initiatives.

- Proven ability to drive global and regional supply chain initiatives aligned with business objectives.

- Experience in shaping and executing supply chain strategy, embedding best-in-class processes, and ensuring delivery across geographically dispersed teams.

- Strong alignment with organizational standards, processes, tools, and systems.

Specific Requirements :


- Strong knowledge of corporate procurement, commercial and bidding strategies, material management, risk management, closeout, and supplier performance management.

- Ability to work effectively across cultures, disciplines, and global teams.

- Strong work ethic with a high level of ownership and accountability for achieving outcomes.
