Description:
Role: Manager, Projects
Key interfaces: Location Leadership team (Discipline Section Heads, Project Management team, Engineering Leads,), Finance, Assurance and Digital
Role Purpose
- Responsible for the leadership and engagement of local resources in close collaboration with the Functional Leaders of Delivery and Commercial.
- Drive datacentric and digital delivery on every project and services team.
- Provides management, direction and governance for all facets of Project Delivery.
- Building relationship with the home office.
- Focus on early engagements in proposals to ensure proper alignment.
- Develop upskill /reskill/ Training plan for Project Management and Services resources with the help of Giga Discipline managers, Project Managers and Services Leads.
- Ensure Assurance Compliance for Project Management and Services.
Key Accountabilities
- Grow and maintain HO / client network in the location and take the lead in securing future growth opportunities in partnership with the HO Sales teams.
- Ensure delivery of projects in line with business plans and project forecasts.
- Deliver project outcomes and financial metrics for the location including gross margin, chargeability, DSO, revenue forecast by regular monitoring of project performance with support from Functional Leaders
- Develop project management resources to improve overall business results.
- Support location head to develop business at location.
Metrics and KPIs
- Actively contribute to the overall financial position of the location
- Digital Solution Implementations aligned to Project Goals and KPIs
- Drive global initiatives among project managements and services team, within project delivery landscape with more focus on data centric delivery.
Key Requirements (qualifications, expérience, attributs etc.)
- 15+ Years of experience in the relevant domain
- Inclusive and motivational leadership style with creative thinking skills and a focus on challenging norms, bringing innovation to current practices to continual evolve how we meet client needs and contribute to Worleys financial position.
- Identify benchmarks and develop project plans to deliver competitive advantage.
- A business driver with the capability to deliver high value services to clients. Focused on the clients needs and providing innovative and industry leading solutions.
- Act as a key contact of steering committees with lead offices and facilitate positive outcome.
- Identify benchmarks and develop operating plan to deliver competitive advantage on strategic priorities.
