What You'll Be Doing?
- As a Workday HCM Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting Workday solutions for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Full Lifecycle Implementation: Lead or actively participate in all phases of Workday HCM implementations, from discovery and design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, identify pain points, and translate complex HR requirements into effective Workday solutions.
Module Configuration: Expertly configure various Workday HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll) based on client needs and best practices.
Data Conversion & Integration: Assist with data conversion strategies and execute data loads. Work on designing and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party systems.
Testing & Training: Develop comprehensive test plans, execute functional and user acceptance testing (UAT), and deliver effective training to end-users to ensure smooth adoption and proficiency.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction throughout projects.
Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation, including functional specifications, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and user manuals.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday functionalities, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
What You Must Have?
- 4-9 years of experience as a Workday HCM Consultant.
- Proven experience in Workday HCM implementations, configurations, and support.
- Deep functional knowledge and hands-on configuration experience in at least two or more core Workday HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Payroll).
- Strong understanding of Workday's data model, reporting capabilities, and integration concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Extra Credit For Workday certifications in specific HCM modules.
- Experience with Workday reporting and calculated fields.
- Familiarity with Workday Integrations (e.g., EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio).
- Previous experience working with a consulting firm or a product-based company implementing Workday
