About Role Wooqer is looking for high-energy account executives who can recognise opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships in the United States region. With their extensive product knowledge and industry trends, Account Executives will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, recommend Wooqer products that maximise value, and close the deals. You should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multitasker with strong computer and communication skills, and find the best fit between client and product. The ideal candidate will be organised, passionate about client relations, and focused on enhancing the buyer experience. Responsibilities: - Hit your sales targets: Find prospects, run demos, and close deals. Hit your monthly quota and drive us to $500K in revenue across the US retail market. - Build the sales team: Hire good salespeople and train them well. Create the processes and playbooks that help them succeed. You're building a sales team from scratch. - Launch in the US market: Break into the US retail market with no existing leads or contacts. Find the right customers, figure out how to reach them, and get them to buy. - Work all types of deals: Handle quick 30-60 day sales and longer enterprise deals. Build relationships with retail executives and show them how we solve their problems. - Create systems that scale: Keep your CRM updated and track what works. Build partnerships and processes that can grow with the business. Requirements: - Education & Experience: BE/BTech mandatory, MBA preferred, with 5+ years B2B SaaS sales experience in startup environments. - Leadership Background: Proven experience hiring and managing sales teams, with ability to scale from 0 to 5+ person sales organization. - Sales Performance: Consistent track record of exceeding $300K+ annual quotas and building pipeline through cold outreach and prospecting. - Enterprise Sales Skills: Experience selling $50K+ deals to C-level executives and finance teams in retail or similar industries. - Technical Proficiency: Strong with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and understanding of SaaS business models. - Core Competencies: Excellent communication skills, self-starter mentality, and ability to work independently in remote/distributed team environment.
