About the job:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

- Drive the technological direction for business-critical applications, ensuring alignment with the overall business vision and strategic objectives.

- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technology programs and projects, from initiation to successful delivery, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.

- Orchestrate and coordinate efforts across diverse development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

- Lead the adoption and implementation of DevSecOps practices for all relevant products, enhancing security, efficiency, and collaboration.

- Act as the primary technology liaison for designated business units within Wolters Kluwer, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure smooth project progression.

- Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance

- Assist RTE with identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities within a program.

- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular, transparent updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and successes.

Experience:

- A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies including 5+ years of experience as a Technology Program Manager managing large, complex initiatives in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams following SAFe methodologies.

- In addition, a proven track of designing content pipeline end-to-end.

- Must have a good understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, .NET, JavaScript (AngularJS), or PHP.

- Preferably has experience developing software.

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models.

- Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive content model that aligns with business goals and user needs.

- Proven experience in analytics (data and content).

- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:

- Project Management tools including JIRA, Miro

- Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Pendo

- Other tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools is a plus

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.

- Proven ability to lead software development initiatives and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.

- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.

- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view.
