Role Overview:
- The Client Servicing Head - Government Business will be responsible for end-to-end client servicing,coordination, and flawless execution of Government and PSU events, exhibitions, summits,ceremonies, and public programmes.
- The role is execution-led and delivery-focused, ensuring that approved concepts, communication plans, and production strategies are implemented effectively. The position works under the strategic direction and final authority of the AVP/VP Government Business, supporting them in client management, internal alignment, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Client Servicing & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary day-to-day client interface for assigned Government ministries, departments, and PSUs.
- Manage client communication, approvals, timelines, documentation, and feedback.
- Ensure adherence to Government protocols, compliance norms, and approval processes.
- Escalate risks, challenges, or scope changes to AVP/VP in a timely manner.
- Build strong working relationships through consistent, compliant, and high-quality delivery.
B. Event Strategy & Conceptualisation
- Translate approved client briefs and concepts into detailed execution plans, show flows, content structures, and production requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment between client approvals and on-ground delivery.
- Support AVP/VP in preparing execution approaches, timelines, and delivery frameworks for Government events.
C. 360 Campaign Integration
- Coordinate with creative, content, digital, and production teams to execute approved communication elements, including:
Event promotions
Social media support
AV scripts and coverage films
Print and digital collaterals
On-ground branding and signage
2. Ensure all communication outputs follow Government branding, messaging, and content
guidelines.
3. Alignment and coordination focus.
D. Cross-Functional Internal Coordination
1. Creative Team
- Brief creative teams on approved event requirements, branding guidelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure feedback is consolidated, structured, and aligned to client approvals.
2. Production Team
- Work closely with production and technical teams for staging, fabrication, AV, LED, sound, lighting, and rehearsals.
- Ensure feasibility, timelines, and execution readiness.
3. Commercial & Finance Teams
- Coordinate on event budgets, BOQs, vendor estimates, rate cards, and expense tracking.
- Prepare and maintain cost sheets, variance trackers, and post-event cost reports.
- Ensure documentation readiness for billing and audits.
4. Tendering Team
- Support the tendering process with execution inputs, timelines, technical write-ups, and costing support.
- Participate in pre-bid discussions to provide operational clarity.
E. Project Governance & Delivery
- Own project execution from award to closure.
- Prepare detailed task plans, trackers, schedules, and vendor coordination sheets.
- Ensure seamless alignment between client approvals, creative output, production readiness,
and on-ground execution.
- Proactively flag risks and support AVP/VP with mitigation plans.
F. Business Development & Pitch Support
- Support AVP/VP during pitches, presentations, and RFP responses.
- Develop execution methodologies, timelines, feasibility plans, and indicative cost structures.
- Participate in pitch meetings as the execution and delivery representative.
- Identify execution efficiencies and account expansion opportunities and route them to AVP/VP.
G. Team Leadership
- Manage and guide Account Managers, Executives, and Event Coordinators.
- Ensure clarity of roles, workflow discipline, and delivery standards.
- Coach teams on Government processes, documentation, and execution best practices.
3. Required Experience
- 10-15 years in client servicing, events, experiential marketing or Government communication.
- Demonstrated experience in Government events, exhibitions, summits or public programmes.
- Exposure to integrated marketing (TVC, digital, print, OOH, radio, PR).
- Strong experience coordinating across creative, production and commercial teams.
